Gangwon Provincial Drama Theater aims to help people live happily by providing truly meaningful and interesting performances that hold the values of Gangwon Province.

Established on December 14, 2013, it contributed to the realization of the Culture Olympics for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics and is now on a new stretch for the promotion of culture and art in Gangwon Province.

The theater actively performed in and out of the province with various works such as <Heonanseolheon>, which is its inaugural performance and <When the Buckwheat Flowers Blossom>, which is considered the representative work of the theater and received much love and support from the audience.

We will continue to become closer to the people, inform them about Gangwon, and do the best to nurture the lifestyle of the province.

As plays are a comprehensive art, it is absolutely necessary to cooperate in various artistic fields.

We will always keep a humble heart and a sense of responsibility as a provincial theater.

Gangwon Provincial Drama Theater will be a cultural brand of Gangwon through theater arts.

Gangwon Provincial Drama Theater, which expresses the emotions and nature of Gangwon Province, believes that "communicating drama" is most important.
